Today's Agent Skill: Job Description Writer
What It Does
Writing a job description that actually attracts qualified candidates — without accidentally excluding protected classes or wasting hours on formatting — is harder than it looks. This skill turns your rough notes about a role into a complete, legally mindful job posting ready to publish on Indeed, LinkedIn, or your website.
How It Works
The agent takes your role requirements (title, responsibilities, must-have skills, pay range if you provide one) and produces a structured job description with an engaging overview, duties list, qualifications, and compensation section. It flags potentially exclusionary language and offers alternatives before you post.
How to Deploy It
Add the SKILL.md to your agent's skills folder and paste your notes about the open role. Works with Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and Windsurf. For recurring hiring needs, save role templates and invoke the skill to refresh them each time a position opens.

## Trigger

## Input

- work_type: Full-time, part-time, or contract
- location: City, state, or "remote"
## Steps

2. List core responsibilities as action-verb bullet points (e.g., "Greet customers and manage appointment scheduling").
3. Separate qualifications into Required and Preferred sections.
4. Add a compensation and benefits section using pay_range if provided; if not, use "Competitive compensation based on experience."
5. Scan the draft for potentially exclusionary language: avoid phrases like "recent graduate," "digital native," "must
